So many things to write about, but at this moment all I can think of is: God is our general. This is a war.
Feel the emotion soldiers must have as they stand surrounded by their comrades, feet restlessly stomping the ground, nervousness heightening their need to concentrate
on their leaders instructions, fear causing a chaotic mix of thoughts that only deep determination and purpose override. They see the enemy ahead and know the plan of action. It is serious. It is their all or their life. Either way it is their life.
This is us. This is me. We are standing in the middle of the most evil and powerful battle of all time. We know we win but we must fight. This is a battle
that those sitting in comfort out of earshot of their commander will die in – regardless of their intentions to survive.
is a battle where our mantra must be, ‘I continually ask God to fill me with the knowledge of His will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that I might live a life worthy of the Lord and please Him in every way.’
(Col 1) To please Him is to fight and proclaim His name. To please Him is to love hard when we feel like giving up on people. Pleasing Him means doing the difficult job ahead that will shocase His glory by your lack of ability when He steps in.
We chose to die to the ‘elemental spiritual forces of this world’ in order to step into the battle sequences foreseen as victorious by Jesus
It is an astonishment that we are even entitled to be part of this great time! He chose us!! He empowers us!!! He is all power
and strength and will cover us with this knowledge if we ask for it. Plead for more faith everyone. Simply ask for a purpose so deep, a burning passion to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves, a vision of the entire story so we will not succumb
to fear and run for comfort tothe world when our vision is limited.
Be encouraged. The fight is worth it! The inheritance is ours!!
His joy is in us! Our General is by our side. Pray it through. Sing! Singing is a mighty strong outpouring of our hearts and is perhaps the greatest action for our prayer lives.
Get gritty with God. Tell Him what you don’t understand and He will cover you with a deeper grasp of His plans because of your honesty. Look deep into the core of the cause of the battle and remember our
past without Him. Think of our future without Him. Now think of our future with Him!!
Hold Him tightly.
Never let go!
